Back but not yet online

Heya amigos,

I'm back from a yawny trip to the states .... need to do lots of work. Plus my brother in law gave me Age of Conan for my birthday for me to check out....

So I won't be on the coming few day (at least) ... or maybe only for a spot visit.

Anyone else in the guild checking out AoC? If so join me on the Crom realm (char name: Astinos class: Conqueror). What I saw during my first few levels was yaw dropping ... it's an MMO with Oblivion graphics, a cool new way of fighting and FATALITIES
I allready burried my axes in a mob's crotch and chest and then chopped off his head.
If ya love a pirate atmosphere yarrrr ,more adult content and next gen graphics I'd recommend this game.

Nice to know your back Heard about the game yea but still have my thoughts about it. How much does it cost and my computer will probably not pull the graphics.

But how was your trip?

hmm just checked the site and trailer. deffy looks like something i'd wanna play but don't think i have enough money to take on another game with monthly fees

Game fees:
50 euro for the game (which has 30 day free play) and 25 for a 60 day game card (which you need to activate the account).
Game specs:
The game plays in 80 fps in full detail at 1440x900 on my pc (dual core 2,6Ghz, 4Gb, Nvidia 8800 GTX 784MB) The minimum spec to play is (at a smooth fps): any dual core, 2 GB of ram, nvidia 7900 (or better) and make sure you have 25GB of disk space if you run XP.

what I like about it compared to wow:
- NO kiddies! The pegi rating of 18+ realy bars "dirge" spamming snotnoses from the game
- No uberfantasy cram ... for all those who long for a dose of reality in their MMO. You wont find a single dwarf, elf or gnome
- The combat system! It rockz >> no more auto attack shit but you swing you weapons real time. And of course the blood&gore crit moves: fatalities
- The graphics ... wow runs sweet on most systems but it's starting to look a bit dusty ...

Will it kick wow from my 1st place of games? ... naaah. It's new and shiny but still has ways to go.
Definitely worth checking out though.

alright whizz its settled. i was doubting but i have decided i am gonna get this game. even if its just for trying out. problem is i can prolly only get it in a few weeks since its a really bussy time for me atm
